4 Ideas Of What We Can Gain From Sharing With Each Other

Meditation, Google, YouTube and forums are very good places to find answers. Not everyone will come away with the same perspective on the same subject. This is where sharing knowledge can be a good thing, because it can broaden our views.

I’m very generous with my knowledge and my researching abilities.   Many times I found myself in 1 way conversations, giving out information that I took the time to look up, went to school to learn and or paid for.

I complained about this to my husband and he told me that, if people would have a conversation instead of 9rounds of questions and answers there would be a lot more knowledge learned by everyone in the conversation.

I tried his suggestion. The very next time a person or a group of people came to ask for my opinion, thoughts, ideas, wanted my suggestions, help and or knowledge I said no, lets have a conversation about this. Then I asked them about their thoughts on the topic. It’s just my opinion, but I think that it worked out better for all involved.

Sharing Helps Us Stay Motivated

“A man can only attain knowledge with the help of those who possess it. This must be understood from the very beginning. One must learn from him who knows.”  –George Ivanovich Gurdjieff

Sharing our own views through our own experiences gives insight to others who might want to do what we did or avoid it. The information that we share can help us want more for ourselves. We all want to achieve something in our lives and the insight from different perspectives  just might be what we needed.

Sharing Helps Us Generate New Ideas

“Knowledge rests not upon truth alone, but upon error also.”
– Carl Jung

We can learn from others mistake and we can also provide the knowledge to help make it right. When we share our knowledge we’re not just helping 1 person, we’re also helping our self and whom ever else need to gain from the insight.

Sharing Helps Us With Our Future Discoveries

“A teacher who establishes rapport with the taught, becomes one with them, learns more from them than he teaches them.”
– Mahatma Gandhi

There’s magic and fun to be had in a group brainstorm. Grate minds think alike and great minds build off of each other as well. When we are open to share our value through our competence we all gain value and we all help develop our own future leaders.

Sharing Helps Us Grow

“Unless you try to do something beyond what you have already mastered, you will never grow.”  – Ralph Waldo Emerson

Some of us will stand out, some of us will use the knowledge we gain to form a new career and or business. Having a set of skills is what makes us proficient in our subjects, but growth means continued development. There’s a saying: We can learn something from everyone in our life. Well, why not just do just that.

Social Experiment:

If your in a group be it online and or off line participate share what you know by participating in conversations. Note how it feels to share and to receive information. Note if the information was useful and if you applied it. Go back to the place where the information was received and let the group know the answers to the above 2 notes.

Hello! I'm Ericka Bates. I am a wife and mother of 2. Totally nosey with the ability to read. Therefore a great researcher. Things I like to look into autism treatments, health, meditation, and personal development. In much of my findings with autism, stress came up a lot. Stress turned out to be the cause for most health problems. Know what can defeat stress? Meditation! Meditation is not only a great way to get rid of stress, but it's also used to reduce anxiety, depression, anger, lower blood pressure and increase your creativity. There are many forms of meditation and right now I am actively practicing 4. I sit quietly and watch my breath. At first this was hard. My mind kept wondering, I was sitting in thought. Now my mind still wonders some, but I think that I'm getting the hang of it. Hey, practice makes perfect right. Walking is my favorite form of meditation. I listen to a podcast while walking and when I'm done I feel relaxed. Gratefulness or Gratitude is another good one. When I get upset, I stop and think okay, what's five things that's good about this situation. This calms me down and makes me feel better. Like the saying goes happiness is a choice and I wanna be happy. Happiness just doesn't show up you have to produces that kind of energy for yourself. Visualization is the fourth form of meditation I practice. I have a vision board with pictures of the things I want and the things I want to do. The pictures are fun to find, cut out, arrange, pin up and their nice to look at every day. Because your only choosing the things you like and want to do makes this form of meditation a joy to have in your life. It wasn't hard making meditation a part of my every day life. Now I feel that meditation is the foundation to anyone's personal development. Hopefully you'll find a form or forms of meditation that's just right for you too.
